The trails of the Everest Base Camp trek run through the Khumbu region. A scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lukla starts the trek. The months between March to May (spring) and September to December (autumn) are the best months to trek to the Everest Base Camp. The recent earthquakes have initially had some impact on the Everest region. However, things are back to normal now and the affected infrastructures have all been reconstructed. The Everest Base Camp is situated at an altitude of 5,364m (17,598ft). The Everest Base Camp trek is led by trained professionals, providing a well-organized and guided experience. Mornings start with hot tea and warm water for washing. After breakfast, the trek begins through scenic forests, hills, and villages. Lunch breaks offer a chance to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Trekking continues for a few more hours before stopping for the day. Evenings are free for relaxation, reading, or socializing with fellow trekkers. There are opportunities for photography and cultural activities, such as card games and dancing. Rest well for the next day’s adventure!
